Operations Supervisor

Job Description
- Conduct daily inspections of the entire school compound for cleanliness, security and maintenance;
- Liaise with external vendors including government agencies, contractors and pest control;
- Plan and carry out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including air-condition servicing, maintenance of painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school;
- Manage external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness;
- Handle feedback from Principal and Teachers, and provide prompt responses within the same day;
- Supervise contractors and team of support staff, ensuring their full attendance and to keep proper records of their attendance;
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
- Handle procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school’s facilities;
- Work together with school’s management team to plan, execute school events, and activities such as open house, concert, graduation ceremonies and other ad-hoc projects to support the room set-up of furniture and tear down of decorations;
- Oversee the organization of special school calendar events such as graduations, celebrations, concerts and Parent Teacher Evenings;
- Be in-charge of all matters relating to the school’s facilities and operations management;
- Oversee the appropriate organization of all school excursions and outdoor education camps;
- Handle office administrative duties which includes processing of invoices, and application of training requests;
- Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned.
Requirements:
- Prior experience of at least 2 years in general operations/ administration
- Qualified with Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- Ability to work well individually in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working in a school environment is a plus
