# Infrastructure Support Engineer - 1 year contract

**Job Description**

**Infrastructure and user/site support** &nbsp;

- Support **network setup and troubleshooting** (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers)&nbsp;

- Assist with **server maintenance and diagnostics** (Windows and Linux)&nbsp;

- Perform **endpoint management** and **software deployment** across sites (laptops/desktops)&nbsp;

**Cloud administration support** &nbsp;

- Support basic administration tasks for:&nbsp;

\ ***M**** icrosoft 365**

**\*Google Workspace**

**\*Azure**

- Assist in user access tasks and configuration changes under guidance&nbsp;

**Security and reliability** &nbsp;

- Help implement cybersecurity measures such as:&nbsp;

- Firewall support (basic checks/config support with seniors/vendors)&nbsp;

- Endpoint protection&nbsp;

- Backup processes and basic recovery checks&nbsp;

- Use monitoring/troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve infrastructure issues&nbsp;

**Documentation and compliance** &nbsp;

- Maintain clear documentation (e.g., network diagrams, configurations, SOPs/runbooks)&nbsp;

- Apply **PDPC data protection** and internal IT governance standards during tasks and projects&nbsp;

**Project support (upgrades/migrations)**&nbsp;

- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors during infrastructure upgrades or migrations&nbsp;

- Support rollout activities (environment setup, migration support, infrastructure testing before go-live)&nbsp;

**Azure exposure&nbsp;** &nbsp;

- Provision and manage basic Azure resources&nbsp;

- Configure basic security controls and access settings&nbsp;

- Support identity and access tasks (e.g., role-based access concepts)&nbsp;

- Learn basic scripting to help automate admin tasks:&nbsp;

- Cloud/platforms: **Azure** , **Microsoft 365** , **Google Workspace** &nbsp;

- Security/ops (varies by environment): endpoint protection, backup tools, monitoring/troubleshooting tools&nbsp;

- Documentation: SOPs, configuration records, network architecture documentation&nbsp;

**Qualifications:**

- Basic understanding of IT fundamentals:&nbsp;

\*Networking basics (IP, Wi‑Fi, switches/routers)&nbsp;

\*Windows/Linux basics

\*Troubleshooting mindset (able to isolate and test causes)

- Willingness to learn and take instructions from senior engineers&nbsp;

- Comfortable documenting steps taken and outcomes clearly&nbsp;

- Responsible attitude toward security and data protection (PDPC awareness or willingness to learn)&nbsp;

- Any exposure to **Azure / Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace** &nbsp;

- Experience with endpoint management or software deployment tools&nbsp;
