The EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) is an IPC charity established in 2015 to uplift the lives of children and youth in Singapore. Supported by EtonHouse International Education Group which runs more than 120 schools across 12 countries, ECF’s programmes have benefitted more than 17,000 children and youth from low-income families.
In 2019 and 2020, ECF received the MSF Cares Awardfor initiatives which supported vulnerable communities to navigate the Covid-19 crisis.
Job Description
Service Delivery
Oversee the smooth planning and execution of all ECF programmes.
Develop and establish protocols and processes for successful implementation of new programmes.
Review and implement the refreshed Joyful Learning programme (JL) as advised and work closely with the ECF lead for Teacher Everywhere to ensure smooth rollout of JL.
Supervise team to draft, revise and adapt learning plans when necessary to ensure they achieve desired learning outcomes.
Direct engagement with vulnerable children who participate in ECF programmes such as JL.
Regularly engage and collaborate with stakeholders and community partners; build effective and sustainable partnerships to serve the needs of children and families.
Research
Manage data collection and documentation for analysis, communications and impact reporting purposes allowing for measurable sustainable desired learning outcomes.
Oversee ECF reasearch projects and build thought-leadership
Administration and Operations
Provide administrative oversight including budget tracking, inventory management, knowledge and best practices sharing, and overall office management to ensure an effective, high-quality work environment.
Support the Chief Executive Officer as needed
Immediate Challenge(s)
Lead the development and implementation of programmes Ran by volunteers
Retain, grown and engage volunteers via the ECF Teacher Everywhere (TE) programme
Supervise team to develop a range of materials in accessible formats to engage volunteers and build capabilities.
Manage the administration of on-going programmes to ensure that they are on track.
Qualifications:
At least possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and equivalent
A well-rounded team player who has at least 8-10 years of relevant experience
Strong organization and management skills with a proven track record of managing volunteers
Strong working knowledge of social service setting or non-profit sector
Experienced in building communities, running programmes, and volunteer management
A creative self-starter who has a passion for improving the lives of children in Singapore
Comfortable working in a lean and cross-functional team, and with volunteers
Able to identify the most appropriate strategies for developing meaningful community initiatives
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse group of people
Collaborative with an infectious team spirit
Independent and self-starter
Strong sense of integrity and ethical responsibility
