Marketing and Admissions Manager – Japanese Market

EtonHouse is seeking a results-driven Marketing and Admissions Manager to lead the growth and positioning of our Japanese market segment. This role is responsible for driving enrolment targets, developing market strategies, and building strong partnerships within the Japanese community. The incumbent will take full ownership of the admissions pipeline, customer journey, and market expansion initiatives, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of business objectives.
Job Description
Strategic Planning & Enrolment Ownership
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive enrolment growth and market share within the Japanese segment
Own and be accountable for enrolment targets, conversion rates, and student pipeline performance
Analyse data and trends to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Provide regular performance
End-to-End Admissions Management
Oversee the full admissions lifecycle from lead generation to enrolment conversion
Ensure a high-quality, consistent, and personalised experience for Japanese families
Review and optimise admissions processes to improve efficiency and conversion rates
Manage complex cases, including parent concerns, negotiations, and escalations
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the key liaison between Marketing, Customer Service (CS), School Leaders, and Academic teams
Drive alignment across teams to ensure enrolment targets and service standards are met
Influence and guide internal stakeholders on market-specific strategies and initiatives
Support leadership in strategic planning for new centre openings or programme launches
Business Development & Market Expansion
Lead efforts in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Japanese corporations, relocation agencies, embassies, and community groups
Identify and develop new channels for student acquisition and brand visibility
Drive corporate engagement initiatives to position EtonHouse as a preferred education provider
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine positioning strategies
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and oversee targeted marketing campaigns for the Japanese market across online and offline channels
Ensure all marketing materials and communications are culturally relevant and aligned with brand positioning
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation and brand awareness
Track campaign performance and optimise based on data insights
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to admissions/marketing team members where applicable
Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and drive accountability within the team
Identify training needs
Events & Community Engagement
Lead the planning and execution of strategic events (e.g. open houses, roadshows, community engagements)
Represent EtonHouse at key Japanese community platforms and networking events
Drive initiatives that strengthen engagement and long-term relationships within the Japanese community
Qualifications:
At least possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
Fluency in Japanese and English (spoken and written) is essential
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or business development, preferably in the education sector
Proven track record in driving enrolment growth and managing stakeholder relationships
Strong understanding of the Japanese expatriate community in Singapore
Leadership experience with ability to influence and drive outcomes
