The EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) is an IPC charity established in 2015 to uplift the lives of children and youth in Singapore. Supported by EtonHouse International Education Group which runs more than 120 schools across 12 countries, ECF’s programmes have benefitted more than 17,000 children and youth from low-income families.
In 2019 and 2020, ECF received the MSF Cares Award for initiatives which supported vulnerable communities to navigate the Covid-19 crisis.

Overview:
As a Volunteer Management and Partnerships Executive at EtonHouse Community Fund, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective engagement with volunteers and growing the volunteer pool alongside fostering meaningful partnerships with stakeholders in ensuring the success towards the mission.
You will be responsible for recruiting, training and retaining volunteers while also establishing and nurturing partnerships with community agencies, corporate partners, educational institutions and other relevant stakeholders to support the objectives of the charity.
Job Description
Volunteer Recruitment and Training
Work closely with the programmes lead to establish a volunteer management framework to support the mission of ECF.
Being one of the lead trainer and ensuring good quality for training content and delivery.
Recruit volunteers through different channels, including but not limited to online platforms, community events and outreach programs.
Coordinate volunteer orientation sessions, training workshops, and ongoing support to ensure volunteers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively.
Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases, including contact information, skills, interests, and availability.
Volunteer Management
Assign volunteers to appropriate roles and projects based on their skills, interests and availability.
Provide guidance and support to volunteers to ensure a positive and fulfilling experience.
Recognize and appreciate the contributions of volunteers through various recognition programs and initiatives.
Partnership and Program Development
Identify potential partners, including but not limited to, corporate entities, social service agencies, ground-up initiatives, community organizations and educational institutions that are aligned with the charity’s mission and goals.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and prospective partners through regular communication, meetings, networking events.
Assisting program lead in developing content that’s relevant and effective for the communities we work with.
Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with other departments within the charity to align volunteer and partnership activities with organizational priorities and objectives.
Support the communications team by providing inputs/ information that can help promote volunteer opportunities, partnership achievements and impact stories through various channels, including social media, newsletters and press releases.
Reporting and Evaluation
Collect and analyze data related to volunteer engagement, partnership activities and impact metrics i.e. VDMS
Conduct evaluations and feedback sessions with volunteers and partners to gather insights and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications:
At least possess education and relevated qualification
Experienced in volunteer management
A well-rounded team player who has at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong organization skills with a proven track record of managing volunteers
Working knowledge of social service setting or non-profit sector
A creative self-starter who has a passion for improving the lives of children in Singapore
Comfortable working in a lean and cross-functional team, and with volunteers
Able to identify the most appropriate strategies for developing meaningful community initiatives
