After School Care Teacher

Job Description

  • Coaching primary school students through daily homework, with a focus on Chinese and 听写

  • Supervising and checking Chinese spelling and dictation

  • Teaching life skills programmes in both English and Chinese

  • Bringing students from nearby schools safely to the centre

  • Giving prompt, clear feedback to centre leaders and parents on each child's behaviour and progress

  • Keeping parents in the loop promptly and regularly

  • Handling admin duties and maintaining the centre premises

  • Following up on fee payments when needed

  • Taking on ad-hoc tasksassigned by management

Qualifications:

  • At least possess a Diploma in any field/WSQ Student Care certification

  • At least 1 year of experience in an independent student care centre

  • Familiarity with the MOE primary school syllabus will be advantageous

  • Strong command of Chinese (spoken and written); able to coach Chinese at primary level

  • Proactive communicator with both parents and the centre team

  • Positive, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with young children

  • Dependable, with strong integrity and work ethic

  • Neat, tidy and calm demeanour
